Risk Disclosure
Please read this statement carefully before using AlphaWeg. It explains what the software is, what it is not, and the substantial risks involved in trading. By using the software, you accept these terms.
Please read this Risk Disclosure carefully before using AlphaWeg. By accessing or using the AlphaWeg software, tools, analysis, analytics, or any related materials (collectively, the "Software"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Risk Disclosure. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
AlphaWeg is a decision-support software product. It is not a broker-dealer, investment adviser, portfolio manager, or fiduciary, and it does not hold, custody, or transmit client funds or securities. Nothing in the Software constitutes a solicitation, offer, recommendation, or advice to buy, sell, or hold any security or financial instrument.
1. General risk of trading & substantial risk of loss
Trading and investing in securities and other financial instruments involves a high degree of risk and is not suitable for every person. Prices can move rapidly and unpredictably, and you may lose some, all, or more than the amount you invest. You should not trade with funds you cannot afford to lose. You are solely responsible for evaluating whether any transaction is appropriate for you in light of your financial condition, objectives, experience, and risk tolerance.
2. This is software, not advice
The Software is a decision-support tool that provides information, data, analytics, and analysis for your independent evaluation. It does not provide investment, financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice, and no output of the Software should be construed as a recommendation or endorsement to buy, sell, hold, or enter into any transaction in any security or instrument. AlphaWeg does not know your individual circumstances and does not tailor any output to them. Any decision you make is your own.
3. No performance guarantee
No representation or warranty is made that any information, model, analysis, strategy, or illustrative example provided through the Software will result in profit or avoid loss. Past performance, hypothetical performance, back-tested results, and illustrative or simulated examples are not indicative of and do not guarantee future results. Hypothetical and simulated results have inherent limitations and do not reflect actual trading, and no returns are promised, projected, guaranteed, or implied. Actual results will differ, and may differ materially.
4. You approve and are solely responsible for every order
The Software does not place orders on your behalf without your action. You review, approve, and submit every order, and you retain sole and complete responsibility and control over all trading and investment decisions, order parameters, timing, and execution through your own brokerage account. You are responsible for verifying every order before submission and for monitoring your positions and account. AlphaWeg bears no responsibility for any order you approve, submit, modify, or fail to submit or cancel.
5. Algorithmic & decision-support risk
The Software relies on models, algorithms, rules, and data that are inherently limited and may be wrong. Analysis and outputs are informational only and may be incomplete, inaccurate, delayed, or unsuitable for current market conditions. Models can fail, produce false or conflicting analysis, or behave unexpectedly, particularly during abnormal, illiquid, or fast-moving markets. Data used or displayed by the Software may be delayed, erroneous, incomplete, or sourced from third parties AlphaWeg does not control. You must independently verify any information before relying on it.
6. Technology & operational risk
The Software depends on hardware, software, networks, and third-party services that may fail. You may experience software bugs, errors, latency, downtime, interruptions, data loss, connectivity or API failures, synchronization problems, delayed or missing analysis, order rejects, or partial functionality. Such events can occur without notice and may prevent you from receiving information or acting on it in a timely manner. You should maintain independent means of monitoring your account and managing your positions and should never rely solely on the Software.
7. Market risk & volatility
Financial markets are subject to sudden and substantial price movements driven by economic, political, regulatory, and other factors, many of which are unpredictable. Volatility can cause rapid and significant losses, halts, or the inability to enter or exit positions at expected prices. Overnight, pre-market, after-hours, and news-driven moves can materially affect your positions.
8. Liquidity & execution risk
There is no assurance that a market will be liquid or continuous. You may be unable to execute a transaction at or near a desired price. Slippage, price gaps, widened spreads, partial fills, requotes, halts, and delays may result in executions materially different from prices displayed in the Software. Stop, limit, and other order types do not guarantee execution or a specific price.
9. Broker / third-party risk & independence
Any brokerage services you use, including Interactive Brokers ("IBKR") and its affiliates, are provided by an independent third party with which AlphaWeg has no partnership, agency, affiliation, sponsorship, or endorsement relationship, unless expressly stated in a separate written agreement. AlphaWeg does not control and is not responsible for your broker's execution, order routing, quotes, market data, pricing, margin terms, fees, platform availability, account approval, or any act or omission of the broker or any other third party. Your relationship with your broker is governed solely by your agreements with that broker. Any reference to IBKR or any other third party is for identification and interoperability only and does not imply any relationship or endorsement in either direction.
10. Suitability & your own due diligence
You are responsible for determining whether the Software and any transaction is suitable and appropriate for you. You should conduct your own research and due diligence and, where appropriate, consult independent, licensed investment, legal, and tax advisers before making any decision. Do not treat any output of the Software as a substitute for your own judgment or professional advice.
11. Margin, leverage & short selling
Trading on margin uses borrowed funds and can amplify losses as well as gains. Losses on a margined position can exceed the amount you deposited. Short positions carry theoretically unlimited loss, because there is no ceiling on how far a price can rise. Your broker may issue a margin call requiring you to deposit additional funds or securities on short notice, and may liquidate some or all of your positions without prior notice to you, at times or prices that are unfavorable, to satisfy margin requirements. Margin, leverage, and short-selling terms are set solely by your broker, and you are responsible for understanding them.
12. Currency risk
If you trade securities denominated in a currency other than your account's base currency — for example, U.S. dollar-denominated securities from an account funded in Israeli new shekels (ILS) or another currency — you bear exchange-rate risk. Currency movements can add to your trading losses, reduce your gains, or exceed the loss on the underlying position itself. Conversion costs and spreads charged by your broker may further affect your results.
13. Intended audience & jurisdiction
AlphaWeg is offered as software and is intended only for users in jurisdictions where such use is lawful. Nothing on this site or in the Software is an offer, solicitation, or recommendation in any jurisdiction where that would be prohibited or would require a license AlphaWeg does not hold. You are responsible for determining whether your use of the Software is permitted under the laws that apply to you, and for complying with your local law.
14. Regulatory status in Israel
